Another week, another batch of gluten free sourdough baked for the week ahead!
Hey foodie fam! 🥖🍞 Let's talk about a topic that's close to our hearts (and tummies!) - Gluten-Free Bread! 🙌
While going gluten-free is a necessity for SOME of us, it's essential to be mindful of what we're putting into our bodies. 🤔
Many store-bought gluten-free bread options may seem like a convenient choice, but the truth is, they often contain high levels of processed starches, are pretty low in fibre and just not that great for your health! 😕
But fear not! There are healthier, tastier alternatives such as Gluten-Free Sourdough! It can be rewarding to make, and also packs a nutritious punch!
Gluten-free sourdough is usually made with whole grains and nourishing flours like brown rice, quinoa and buckwheat! These grains/pseudo grains, bring fiber, vitamins, and minerals to the table. This means better digestion and happier tummies! 🌱💕
Not going to lie.. it is a time consuming process and we commit to making a couple of loaves every weekend. However if we are home anyway.. we don’t find it too difficult.
