**Job Title:** Female Disability Support Worker

**Company Overview:**
We are a dedicated organization providing support to people in the Port Stephens area.
Our mission is to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that empowers those we are supporting, which includes participants and families with ASD, ADHD, and other behavioral challenges. We are looking for compassionate and committed individuals to join our team and make a positive impact.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- providing community access, in home daily supports and before and after school care for participants with disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Support participants with ASD, ADHD, and behaviors of concern through tailored strategies and interventions.
- Assist in daily activities and routines, promoting independence and social skills.
- Collaborate with families and other professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support provided and report any concerns to supervisors.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Experience working with participants with ASD and ADHD,Preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Possess all relevant checks, including a Working with Children Check.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with participants and families.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards learning and supporting participants development.
