Thread The Needle Stretch

This stretch targets:
⚽️Upper Back
🏀Shoulders & rear deltoids
🎾Neck
⚾️Lats
🏈Light Hip engagement

The Thread The Needle stretch is a gentle yet highly effective mobility exercise that focuses on improving upper-body rotation and relieving built-up tension. It encourages movement through the thoracic spine, which is essential for healthy posture, shoulder function, and overall mobility.

This stretch is perfect for people who sit for long periods, as it helps counteract rounded shoulders and a stiff upper back caused by desk work or screen time.

It’s also excellent for weight lifters and athletes, as it improves shoulder mobility, supports better overhead movement, and can reduce strain during pressing or pulling exercises.

Beyond performance, it’s a great option for anyone feeling generally stiff or tight, especially in the neck and upper back. The slow, controlled nature of the stretch makes it ideal for warm-ups, cooldowns, or daily recovery routines.

When performed with steady breathing, Thread The Needle also promotes relaxation, helping release tension and improve body awareness.

Healthy Breakfast Idea - Ashleigh Schneider

Veg-packed shakshuka (serves 2) 🍳
Comforting, colourful and an easy way to boost your veggie intake.
Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dinner.

Ingredients:

• 4 eggs per person
• 1 capsicum, sliced
• 1 red onion, sliced
• 4 large mushrooms, sliced
• 1 zucchini, diced
• 1 cup spinach
• 2 tins peeled tomatoes
• 1 tsp smoked paprika
• 1 tsp cumin
• ½ tsp sumac
• 1 tsp oregano
• Fresh parsley, to serve
• Optional: feta cheese
• To serve: wholemeal high-fibre bread

Method:
1⃣ Sauté capsicum, onion, mushrooms and zucchini until softened.
2⃣ Add spices and oregano, stirring until fragrant.
3⃣ Pour in tomatoes and simmer until thickened.
4⃣ Make small wells, crack eggs into each, cover and gently poach.
5⃣ Finish with spinach, parsley, and optional feta.

Serve with toasted wholemeal high-fibre bread and enjoy 💛

My Health Team

My Health Team was born from Andrew and Mark’s frustrations of not being able to fix everything with our clients. Not many of us have just the one problem when they come to see us. We often have multiple different issues that need to be addressed. It’s a lot better when someone sees the expert for each problem.

We became disillusioned from sending clients to other types of providers to get other aspects of their health fixed. Often this encounted delays in accessing other services and break down in communication, leading to longer heeling times.

We firmly believe that when a client walks in for treatment, they’re not just getting the injury treated, we are restoring their lifestyle and getting them back to what they love to do pain free.
