✨Learning through play ✨

It is important to provide different opportunities to support children learning through play.

Our friends are learning about taking turns and lining up throughout their day. We use these moments to talk about topic such as fairness.

Supporting 1.4 Children learn to interact in relation to others with care, empathy and respect. 2.3 Children become aware of fairness.

Another fun week spent exploring and learning with our friend's. It is such a wonderful feeling welcoming our friends each day and seeing their big smiles, ready to take on the day 🥰

This week was spent exploring the celebration of Easter. Through different activities such as stories, art, baking, sensory, puzzles and more!

When children explore the diversity of culture, heritage, background and traditions such as Easter. It supports learning outcome: 2.2 Children respond to diversity with respect. Educators can support this by planning experiences and providing resources that broaden children’s perspectives and encourage appreciation of diversity.

Our friends were very engaged learners when taking part in the magic colours activity!

We decorated our egg by carefully dragging the droplets around. This was a great way to support our fine motor development, especially our pincer grip.

We displayed dispositions for learning such as persistence and cooperation.

We also took the time to explore the different colours to expand our knowledge. Some friends figured out, if you mixed two colours together it would create a new colour.
