Did you know? The Support at Home program includes access to a Restorative Care Pathway!

That means:

🩺 Up to 16 weeks of intensive allied health or nursing support
💰 Up to $12,000 in funding (or $6,000 per care episode)

It’s a little extra help to support your recovery, on top of funding you will receive for ongoing services.

What’s the ‘no worse-off principle’? 🤔 Let’s hear it from our Clinical Care Coordinator, Anisha!

A previous Home Care Package (HCP) care recipient will be ‘no-worse off’ under Support Home, and will not make higher participant contributions than they did under the previous HCP program.

This applies to grandfathered HCP care recipients who, on 12 September 2024, were receiving a Home Care Package, on the National Priority System or assessed as eligible to receive a Home Care Package.

The Support at Home Program now operates on a Quarterly Budget, with funding provided in 3-month intervals. This structure allows for better planning and adjustments as your care needs evolve.

Please note, you can only roll over $1,000 or 10% of your budget to the next quarter, so it is important to use your funds when required.
