Wiggle while you work!🪑🖊️

This wobble cushion is a game changer for little kearners who need a bit of extra sensory input to stay regulated, engaged and attentive! 🧠⚡️

For many children, sitting still is actually harder than staying jn motion. By providing a wobble cushion while they do their work, kids can regulate their sensor systems and stay focused on the task at hand ✨

Other benefits include:
⭐️ Strengthening the core and improving postural stability

⭐️ Enhancing attention and focus

⭐️ Promoting better balance and coordination

⭐️ Providing deep pressure that aids in self-regulation

Did you know? 👀🤔

A child’s posture can directly impact their attention and engagement? 💭🧠

When children are well supported when seated, they have more capacity to focus, engage and learn 🪑📚

If a child is:
➡️ Slouching

➡️ Wrapping their legs around the chair

➡️ Leaning on their desk

➡️ Constantly fidgeting

They may be using most of their effort to stay upright - leaving less energy for listening and learning.

Speak to your OT for tips and tricks to support your child’s postural stability! 📲

Do you have any of the following queries? 📚🦉

🟡 How can I help my child develop stronger expressive skills?

🟡 My child seems behind their peers.

🟡 My child gets bored when I read to them.

🟡 My child doesn’t respond to questions or only gives short answers.

Dialogue reading is a way of engaging with book reading together, turning it into a playful, back and forth experience with your child - instead of a one sided approach where an adult just reads a book aloud.
