While it doesn’t feel like spring here in Melbourne at the moment ☔️ the plane trees are still causing havoc to our sinuses!

Jala Neti helps relieve sinus congestion, reduce allergies, and improve breathing clarity.

It’s also great for boosting focus and supporting overall respiratory health.

Jala Neti is a simple yogic practice that involves rinsing your nasal passages with warm salty water using a neti pot.
• Just tilt your head to the side, insert the spout into one nostril, and let the water flow out the other.
• Then switch sides.
• Follow it up with a few rounds of Kapal Bhati (a breathing technique) to clear out any remaining water.

WHY DO SIDE STRETCHES HELP AGAINST HAY FEVER? //

Have you noticed that the sinus passages open when doing side stretches?

As a result hay fever eases.

Side bends are a simple and effective way to support sinus relief. By gently stretching through the sides of the torso and neck you invite space into the body while using gravity to help encourage mucus drainage and enhance circulation to the face. This movement can offer a natural sense of relief from sinus pressure and congestion, especially when paired with deep nasal breathing.

Strange but true, we’ve tested in classes many times!

Diwaloween – From Darkness to Light

While Diwali and Halloween come from different traditions, they share common themes: the triumph of light over darkness and the presence of the unseen. When their dates closely align they offer a unique opportunity to reflect more deeply on these energies — hence, Diwaloween.

Diwali marks the darkest night of the year (northern hemisphere), when the sun is weakest and the moon absent. We light candles to invite clarity, warmth and renewal. Halloween honours the departed, reminding us of the thin veil between worlds. Diwaloween invites us to turn inward, recognise this liminal space and reconnect with our own inner light.

Join us for an evening of Satsang, meditation, spiritual reflection and community. Whether you’re new or seasoned on the path, it’s a chance to step away from the noise and be nourished spiritually.

Includes shared vegetarian dinner and chai.

Yoga in Daily Life is a traditional and holistic style of yoga that welcomes everyone regardless of your yoga experience. Beginners start with level 1.

Each class includes a mix of passive and dynamic yoga poses, guided breathing, relaxation and meditation.

You’ll build strength, increase flexibility, improve posture and reduce stress. Overtime, you may notice better focus, a stronger digestive system and a deeper sense of calm and clarity.

The last series of of our Quiet Mind Open Heart winter meditation series.

Series 4 focuses on the advanced levels of Yoga in Daily Life’s Self Inquiry Meditation.

Suited for all who have done the previous series this year or the past 2 years or have at least a year of experience in daily meditation with a mantra.

Practices include:

🪷 linking the breath and mantra with each chakra, supporting steady, balanced energy flow.

🪷 connecting inward—to that quiet, grounded space within—and deepen our sense of connection with ourselves, with others, and with something greater.

🪷 strengthening our relationship with our Higher Self, reflect on our own unique path in life, and be present in a space of clarity, peace and alignment.
