Families, friends, and neighbors gathered for the 2nd Annual Fall Harvest Festival to celebrate the season of gratitude and good health! 🍁 From garden harvesting to drumming circles, everyone joined in the fun — and of course, taste-tested our creamy Pumpkin Smoothie! 🎃🥤 Bags filled with greens, laughter echoing through Habernickel Park, and hearts full of community spirit made it a perfect fall day. 💚

The Glen Rock Elder Dinner was an exciting success today! 🎉 GRNN brought the community together with a heartfelt gathering (even Ridgewood Rotary am members were present, too!), the Kapur family supported the delicious meal in honor of Arjun’s father, and the Healing Meals volunteers seamlessly handed off yesterday’s cooking to today’s reheat-and-serve — even passing the Bergen County health inspection with flying colors! ✅. Thank you No Fuss Lunch for your kitchen & support!

Endless gratitude to every helping hand who makes this event so special for our seniors. Our volunteers are simply the best! 💚

From roasting to carving — the turkey for the Glen Rock Elder Dinner is complete! 🦃✨At the helm at the No Fuss Lunch kitchen, Stacey, our director and Arjun Kapur in honor of his grandfather’s birthday led the incredible Healing Meals Glen Rock volunteers + Girl Scout troop. This meal is filled with love and gratitude.

From garden to table 🌿🍷 Our adult chefs, guided by Chef Pascal, whipped up a French classic — Coq au Vin — featuring freshly harvested cauliflower, parsley and leeks from the HealthBarn garden! A night filled with flavor, fun, and true farm-to-fork magic 👩‍🍳✨ The best part? Sharing a community meal with amazing people who love good food and meeting new friends.

It’s harvest season, and our organic garden is still bursting with surprises! 🌿 From our first-ever fully grown cauliflower head (incredible!) to kale, parsley, peas, persimmons, figs, tomatoes, Brussel sprouts, green beans and even still-flowering zucchini — the magic of the garden keeps on giving. 🍃✨
Every harvest brings happiness, curiosity, and good nutrition to our kids (and parents, too)! 💚.

Healing Meals on Demand!
Big news — we’ve partnered with Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative (BVMI) to deliver dietitian-approved monthly meals and soups to working uninsured individuals who need both medical care and nutritious food. 🥣💚

Our volunteers doubled production to make the first delivery happen this week — and we’re still serving our regular partners:
• Tomorrow’s Children’s Fund
• Ridgewood Social Services
• Ridgecrest
• Franciscan Community Development Center
