Refined sugar in particular causes an inflammation response which can flare up joints and irritate muscles.

3 simple stretches for tight hips-

1. Pigeon pose- stay active with the core, glutes and lats switched on for a better result.

2. Adductor stretch- Opens up the inside of the groin. You can play around by moving your arms side to side.

3. Deep lunge- this targets the hip flexors at the front. Again stay active and by throwing your arm up and moving the hips back and forth for a deeper stretch.
