A picosecond is to one second, as one second is to 31,689 years, that's fast!

The PicoWay laser works by delivering ultra-short, high-peak-power pulses of light to shatter pigment or tattoo ink into tiny particles, which are then cleared by the body's immune system. Unlike older lasers that use heat to burn away pigment, PicoWay uses a shockwave effect, which breaks down the target without overheating the surrounding skin, resulting in less downtime and pain.

This digital dermoscopy system allows our fully accredited skin cancer doctors to take high resolution images of your entire skin. This creates a “mole map” and means we can closely track changes in any suspicious lesions over time.
