We work very closely with visiting Dermatologist, Surgeons with Special interest in skin Cancer and oncologists on the Gold Coast. Our laser technicians, dermal therapists and clinical team have extensive experience in providing laser therapy for a variety of skin concerns.

We invest into and train in the newest laser technology, to ensure maximum efficacy results for all our patients. We often take a combined treatment approach and it's not uncommon to see our dermal therapist and nurse or doctor during your visit.

It's very common for skin changes to occur in pregnancy, the most common being the darkening of existing moles. You should still follow the 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗡 rule when checking your skin which is to check for lesions that are:

𝗦ore, 𝗖hanging, 𝗔bnormal or 𝗡ew

👉🏻 It’s a combination of factors - we have high screening rates so skin cancer is regularly detected in the population, however we also content with a very outdoor centric lifestyle, geographically have lots of UV exposure from the sun, and outdated attitudes toward tanning still exist.

FotoFinder full body photography mole mapping 🔎

What is it?

A digital dermoscopy system that uses high resolution imaging and AI assistance to track your moles over time. Combined with the trained eye of your fully accredited skin cancer doctor, it’s the ultimate in skin cancer detection.

FotoFinder takes photos of your entire skin surface, making future comparisons more accurate than traditional methods. It’s particularly useful if you have many moles or recurrent lesions.

Today marks the start of National Skin Cancer Action Week 💛

This initiative is a cause very close to us at Skin Clinic Robina as we diagnose, treat and remove skin cancer in various forms, every day. In Australia alone, over one million nonmelanoma (NMSC) treatments are given annually.

We hope for increased awareness and advocacy for sun protection, better screening rates, and changed attitudes in society that reflect how dangerous UV exposure can be.
