Drs & staff @ IMQ Veteran Clinic were absolutely thrilled to welcome Karyn from Working Spirit for a very informative chat about the practical employment support they provide to Veterans transitioning from ADF & Police through their employment.

We believe , that we provide 💯 percent support to our Veterans , we pride ourselves, are very proud of that fact . So inevitably were thrilled to hear of the genuine support that is provided to Veterans by Working Spirit .

Their commitment is truly invaluable .

Karyn met with the team at Innovative Medicine QLD Veteran Clinic and spent time discussing the Transition Employment Portal (TEP) and the practical employment support we offer through Working Spirit.

What stood out immediately was the lived connection across their team. Every doctor and staff member has a direct relationship with service life whether through their own service, supporting a partner, or as a parent of someone currently serving. That shared understanding creates a level of trust and insight that truly matters.

There was strong interest in how the TEP can support their patients and members who are navigating employment alongside health, recovery, and transition. Employment is often a key part of stability and wellbeing, and it was encouraging to see how closely aligned our work is.

Thank you to the team for the open conversation and genuine interest in supporting veterans and their families beyond the clinical setting. These connections make a real difference.

Christmas has come & gone for another year with a very needed rest for us all at IMQ.

As our break is coming to an end & our door will be open again , Our awesome team are super excited to welcome you all back for our fifth year.

From 1 August 2025, the Australian Defence Force is refreshing its royal insignia.
In a move steeped in tradition and modernity, the classic St Edward’s Crown—signifying the reign of Queen Elizabeth II—is being replaced by the Tudor Crown, chosen by His Majesty King Charles III to mark his reign as monarch.

The Australian Army’s Rising Sun badge, now in its eighth pattern, features the Tudor Crown in a clean, digital-friendly design—balancing heritage with readability

The Royal Australian Navy’s badge also transitions—approved by Vice Admiral Mark Hammond, the new Tudor Crown version replaces the previous design from the early 2000s

The Royal Australian Air Force similarly updates its badge with the Tudor Crown, redesigned for clarity and the digital age

These updates aren't just cosmetic—they’re a nod to our evolving identity as defenders of Australia, adapting to an era where insignia appear across digital platforms, mobile screens, and fine-detailed prints

While the new crown is rolling out across digital systems—badges, templates, social media assets, and brandmarks—physical items (uniforms, badges, medals) will transition gradually as existing stocks are used and refreshed. This is keeping with His Majesty's desire to avoid unnecessary costs during this process.

Definitely NO introduction needed for this AMAZING Practioner.

Dr Cameron’s vision was to create a clinic entirely for Veterans so that they were able to receive, not only the care they required, but also a clinic that could handle any DVA claims that majority of Veterans desperately needed after transitioning out of the forces.

That clinic grew with such great demand for what his clinic provided , it warranted him to seek other GP’s with the same passion as himself to join his clinic under his guidance & expertise.

Dr Ken sought much needed help & has successfully managed to secure 4 amazing Doctors to help provide medical treatment for the many Veterans seeking guidance & ongoing care .
That now has enables him to do more Managerial Duties in the clinic as he oversees the highly skilled Team @ IMQ Veteran Clinic .
