The Youth Group had a Cultural Camp in Cairns from September 20th-23rd, 2025 for youth aged 13-17. This unforgettable adventure included exploring cultural activities like a Kuku Yalanji Tour, the Ngadiku Dreamtime Gorge Walk, the Kuranda Scenic Railway, the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience and an Army Duck tour.

MVAC Health Service will be temporarily closed on Monday/ November 3rd and Tuesday/November 4th.

We would like to express our gratitude to Michael Krasna for his service as he steps down from his role as Chairperson of the MVAC. We appreciate his leadership and commitment and we are pleased that he will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors.

We welcome Leon Johnson as the new Chairperson. New executive roles have been established, Steve Bowden has been appointed Treasurer, and Amber Ison is now Secretary. The roles of Aunty Rose Kirby and Bessie Johnson as Board of Director remain unchanged.
