Done with the corporate world, done with being a high level manager, and needed to change my life to help my own sanity and mental health. Healing Stone Creations is my rock.... I founded it to soothe my stress and anxiety, to leave behind the excess baggage that was weighing me down, and embrace my creativity that had been suppressed for so long. My journey in life has been filled with many challenging and wondrous things. Some horrific, some overcome with sheer determination, with incredible life changing gifts along with way. I am a wife, a daughter, a mama to my fur babies, and embrace all things spiritual. I re-discovered healing stones early last year, when I was at rock bottom. Overwhelmed and suffering stress and anxiety from my role as a high level manager in a demanding environment, and being the high functioning A-type personality that I am, something had to give. So, along with my husband, we put a plan in place. We took the necessary steps to enable me to live the life I wanted, the life I needed, and do the things that bring me joy. I’ve worked all my life, full time since I was 16, part time as a 12 year old check out chick at the local corner store. I’m now 52, and was so ready to leave the high achieving, high stress environment behind me. When I was a kid, I used to pull things apart and make my own jewellery. Looking back, it was my escape, my happy place, whilst growing up and being surrounded by DV and abuse. I have come full circle and gone back to something that flows naturally for me, allowing my creative spirit to run free - now surrounded in love, companionship and a sense of purpose. I am constantly surprising myself with where my creativity leads me these days, and loving the journey so much. There are a vast array of healing stones available today. I’m continually learning about their individual healing and spiritual properties, and then incorporating them into my unique hand-crafted pieces. I hope you enjoy my collections. They are made with love and mindfully created as statement pieces, to bring some balance and harmony to your life.
