Hello KSM patients!

As of 1st November 2025, we have made the decision to trial Bulk Billing for our patients, assisted by the introduction of new government incentives. 🥳

This will be for all patients regardless of age / pension status.

There will be some exceptions to this - best to talk to your GP regarding these.

We are asking all of our patients to please sign up to MyMedicare so we can take full advantage of these incentives and be able to continue to bulk bill everyone.

MyMedicare formalises the relationship between yourself and our clinic. You can still see other doctors, but we would be classed as your main practice. ☺️

In 3 weeks time, Mitch and I will be heading to Canberra to support these guys and another 200 and something other teams.

The route had to be changed because so much of central Australia has been in flood

We are Team Medical 2 this time. We will be travelling in the 200 series Landcruiser (definitely NOT a Sh*tbox … they like the support teams to be in something reliable) to support all the fundraisers who are driving their Sh*tboxes. Our role will include supplying Medical, Mechanical (we’re pretty handy with duct tape and zip ties 😉), Towing, Technical and Moral Support to the rally participants.

We consider it a good enough cause to donate 2 -3 weeks of our time each year to support these guys. If you felt the urge to donate (any amount) we would be very grateful.

5 weeks to go till we’re off again on the rally again. This one starts in Canberra and goes to Townsville via Birdsville. We’re Medical support again. We’re there to help roughly 250 teams of 2 people through some of Australia’s rugged countryside as their reward for fundraising for the .
It’s 7 days of tough going in their cars worth less than $1500 aiming to cross the finish line.

Some disruptions due to staff being unable to physically get to the clinic, or internet/power/phone problems. You will be notified if your appointments are affected.

Please also (if you can) let us know if you are unable to attend - we may be able to set up video or telehealth appointment with you.

We got out relatively unscathed - just one tree fell, and we had that cleaned up quickly with thanks to James, Mitch and Matt. 😇

Hello KSM patients.

We have made the decision to close the clinic on Friday 7th March due to the expected cyclone. We will be phoning everyone to reschedule appointments.

At this stage, we will be changing all booked appointments from 1pm Thursday to telehealth so staff and patients are able to stay home / return home safely.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope everyone stays safe and well over the next few days. 🙏
