Children’s Week is here and celebrates the rights of children to thrive, learn, play and be heard.

This year’s theme “Everyone should know about Children’s Rights” reminds us it is everyone’s responsibility to uphold the dignity and rights of all children, especially those who face disadvantage or do not have access to the essentials for a safe, happy and healthy life.

The Australian Curriculum aims to help all young Australians become successful learners, confident and creative individuals, and active and informed citizens. Through its achievement standards and content descriptions, it provides the essential knowledge, understanding and skills we want all young people to have.
