📢 Rockhampton Manual Handling Training for Aged Care & Disability Support Workers

Join us on Thursday, 11th December at 9:00 AM for a Manual Handling Class designed specifically for those working in aged care and disability support. 💙

This session will help you provide safer, more confident support while protecting both yourself and the people you care for.

This week we proudly celebrated the achievements of our incredible students who have completed their Cert III in Pathology through the Skilling Queenslands for Work Program delivered in partnership with Multicultural Families Organisation Inc. - MFO. What a milestone and an exciting chapter ahead for each of you!

Thank you to MFO for their warm hospitality and ongoing support throughout the program, it has been such a pleasure to work alongside your team, pathing the journey of each of our students.

A special shoutout to our Accredited Trainer, Ali, who goes above and beyond to ensure each of you are confident and competent in your role as a phlebotomist, tirelessly offering her time and support to get you there. We appreciate your commitment and the industry knowledge that you deliver through your training, thank you Ali!

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our industry partners at Australian Clinical Labs for joining us to celebrate and for your continued collaboration in helping shape meaningful career pathways for our students.

What an amazing shared lunch we had today as part of our diverse gathering with our SQW students of ARMIA! 🌏🍽️

Our table was filled with flavours from PNG, Fiji, Africa, Indonesia, and so many more cultural kitchens. Each dish carried its own story — memories of home, family traditions, and journeys that brought us all together. It was an extra touch to see some of the ladies dressed in traditional clothing.

It was a beautiful reminder that food is more than just a meal… it’s connection, culture, and community.

Thank you to everyone who cooked, shared, laughed, and celebrated diversity with us today. Moments like these show how powerful it is when different cultures come together around one table and we were so blessed to be a part of today.

Graduations are an important milestone for our Certificate II Health Support Services students at Bowen State High School.
They represent more than the completion of a qualification. They acknowledge the dedication, resilience and practical skills our students have developed throughout their training with our Accredited Trainer Crystal Maaka.

Today our Beenleigh team had the amazing opportunity to watch and support the disability basketball tornament today at Cornubia.
Great to see so many players involved in this amazing tournament and to see they are all gaining so many life skills playing this sport and interacting with so many different teams and players ✨️💫✨️

It was an absolutely pleasure to be a part of the celebrations at our Park Ridge Health Hub last night.
This was an evening to celebrate the achievements of all our outstanding students that achieved a qualification of either a Cert II Health Support Services or a Cert III Individual Support.
We were also proud to of given out 3 special awards to our talented students that have shown that training is not just about gaining skills but about growing as individuals and contributing meaningfully to the health sector as well as 2 fulled funded scholarships for our 2026 training programs at Park Ridge State High School .
This partnership we have formed with Park Ridge State High School is amazing and to see the amount of students graduating was exceptional.
