Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, 16 February 2026, aged 95 years.

Much-loved mother and mother-in-law of Mark & Cathy Ellaway, Julie Willans, Peter & Maree Ellaway, Michelle and Michael Powell, Trish and Shane Weir, Chris & Tina Ellaway , Stephen Ellaway & Sean Whelan, Bernadette & Clayton Harvey.
Loving grandmother of 18 and great-grandmother of 28. A loving aunt and friend to so many.

Joan will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family, friends, and the wider Capricorn Coast community.

Treasured sister to Theresa (dec), Marnie, Yvonne and David (dec).
Cherished mother-in-law and proud Gami to Jay, Tyhde, Koa, Brax, Penny, Toby, Darcy and Arky.
Friend to many and held in high regard by those who knew her.

A deeply loved sister-in-law, aunty, niece, cousin and relative to her extended family. Tammy’s loss is felt deeply by her family and all who knew her, and she will be remembered with enduring love.
