💛 March is Endometriosis Awareness Month 💛

Endometriosis affects 1 in 9 women in Australia and is often under-diagnosed. Symptoms can be ongoing, painful, and significantly impact daily life — and they are not normal.

Common symptoms may include:
• Painful periods
• Chronic pelvic pain
• Pain during or after s*x
• Heavy or irregular periods
• Fatigue, bowel or bladder symptoms

If you’re experiencing persistent symptoms or pain that affects your quality of life, you don’t have to put up with it.

📞 Book an appointment with your GP to discuss symptoms, diagnosis, and management options.

💛 Awareness leads to earlier diagnosis and better care.

☀️ Know the ABCDEs of Melanoma ☀️

Early detection can save lives. When checking your skin, remember the ABCDE rule for spotting possible melanoma:

A – Asymmetry
One half of the mole doesn’t match the other.

B – Border
Edges are irregular, ragged, or blurred.

C – Colour
Different shades of brown, black, red, white, or blue.

D – Diameter
Larger than 6mm (about the size of a pencil eraser), though melanomas can be smaller.

E – Evolving
Any change in size, shape, colour, or symptoms such as itching or bleeding.

If you notice any of these changes, it’s important to have your skin checked by your GP.

🩺 Early detection makes a big difference — book a skin check if you have concerns. 📞(07) 4922 3300
