Birth Photography

For many mums-to-be, having a professional birth photographer is becoming an essential part of their journey. Birth photography allows you to capture one of the most incredible, transformative, and emotional moments of your life. It’s not just about documenting the birth itself, but also the raw emotions, the intensity, the triumph, and the beauty of your body bringing new life into the world.

Birth photography is truly a special and intimate service. It captures the celebration, the growth, the hormones, and the miraculous process of bringing life into the world – moments you may not fully remember in the haze of labor but will treasure forever. I’m passionate about helping families preserve these memories. After training with renowned birth photographers in Australia and New Zealand, and capturing over 20 births locally in Rockhampton, I can say that it’s an honour to be part of such a life-changing experience. It’s something I absolutely love!

What to Expect
Birth photography can be subject to hospital policies and care-provider permissions. We can assist you with letters to send to your healthcare provider to request permission for a professional birth photographer. It's crucial to clarify the details with your hospital and care team before booking, especially for caesarean sections, as photography in theatre may not always be allowed. Some hospitals are more open to birth photography than others, so it’s best to discuss this ahead of time.
