We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and professional male Disability Support Worker to join our team at Farr & Beyond Support Services.
This role involves providing in-home and community support to our participants in the central Queensland region.
The successful applicant will have the skills and patience to build trust, provide structure, and encourage independence while maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and daily living assistance where required
- Support emotional wellbeing using person-centred approaches
- Facilitate community access and social engagement
- Maintain accurate shift notes and follow support plans

About You:
- Male support worker
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Reliable, empathetic, and able to maintain professional boundaries
- Flexible availability, including potential sleepovers and weekends

Essential Requirements:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Current Australian Driver Licence & reliable vehicle

Desirable:
- Cert III/IV in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services, or related field
- Mental Health First Aid

Male Disability Support Worker

Location: Emu Park, Yeppoon, Rockhampton

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and professional male Disability Support Worker to join our team at Farr & Beyond Support Services.
This role involves providing in-home and community support to a male participant living with Schizophrenia and other mental health conditions currently on a 24 hour roster. The successful applicant will have the skills and patience to build trust, provide structure, and encourage independence while maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and daily living assistance where required
- Support emotional wellbeing using person-centred approaches
- Facilitate community access and social engagement
- Administer and prompt medication as per care plan
- Maintain accurate shift notes and follow support plans
- Undertake sleepover shifts and be available for overnight support

About You:
- Male support worker (required for participant preference)
- Experience working with individuals with Schizophrenia and mental health conditions
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Reliable, empathetic, and able to maintain professional boundaries
- Flexible availability, including sleepovers and weekends

Essential Requirements:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
