Christmas Gift Appeal – From the Bene Guardians 🎄

This festive season, the Bene Guardians are spreading joy and hope through our Christmas Gift Giving Appeal for Moo and Coo, supporting families affected by domestic violence.

How you can help:

We’re asking for donations of gifts for children aged 1 to 15 years. These gifts will be presented to Moo and Coo in special gift bags they’ve provided.

🎁 Gift ideas include:
• Toys and books
• Gift cards
• Sweets and stocking fillers
• Tickets for the cinema or bowling alley

If you’d like to participate, please leave your gift in the gift collection box in reception for the team to collect.

Your generosity will help bring smiles to children and families who need it most this Christmas. Thank you for making a difference! ❤️

This morning, we gathered with our wonderful residents, families, and staff for a special Movember Morning Tea. It was an event to honour this important cause and shine a spotlight on men’s mental health.

Movember is more than just moustaches – it’s about starting conversations, raising awareness, and supporting the wellbeing of men in our community.

Today reminded us how powerful connection can be.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this morning so meaningful 💙

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening of the Close to Home exhibition!

Together, we honoured the many ways we connect to “home” – which isn’t always just a place, but a feeling, a memory, and a story.

The exhibition is now open daily until 25 January, so there’s plenty of time to experience this beautiful celebration of connection.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and our staff are rallying behind this important cause thanks to our amazing maintenance officer Gavin, who has made the team Breast Cancer Awareness shirts to wear for the month of October 🎀

Today we honoured this important cause with a team BBQ, and of course because Gavin and Lorraine go above and beyond they got the team a cake and cold drinks to share.

Thanks Gavin for our staff shirts and our treats, the team loved them! 💕

Good Vibrations Surprise Concert!

We had two beautiful family members drop by for an impromptu concert in our Long Gallery as part of the Good Vibrations exhibition and wow, what a moment!

With one of our pianos in the gallery for rhe exhibition, the space came alive as residents and staff gathered to sing along with these two incredible talents. The energy, the smiles, the music, was pure magic.

A huge thank you to our surprise performers for sharing your gift and creating such a joyful experience.

You truly brought the good vibrations to life!
