G’day everyone, just a short thank you message, and just on that, you won’t find me on the big screen anytime soon.
Since the recording, we had another very generous hay offer to top up this trip (thank you Jeff Ricketts); we’re currently gathering hay for another trip.

Heavy Diesel Mechanic position available.

About the role:

Main workshop in Roma with field callouts.
Repairs, maintenance and inspections on all fleet vehicles (prime movers and trailers).
Completion of reporting and inspection documents.
Vehicle, tools, and equipment provided.
2 week on / 2 week off.
Living away from home allowance, accommodation provided (you are responsible for travel to/from Roma).
Role can be labour intense requiring applicants to be physically fit and have a sound knowledge of positive manual handling techniques.

Requirements of the position:

Knowledge and understanding of heavy vehicle maintenance.
Heavy vehicle licence (desirable).
Must be trade qualified.
Mandatory medical assessment and traffic history checks.
Commitment to health, safety and environmental practices and standards
