Monday's development day was all about growth and good vibes! We spent time building skills, sharing laughs, and playing a few games along the way. Looking after our team means we can give our best to the young people who count on us. 💪✨💚

Our wonderful staff members Nicki and Megan were both nominated in the Murri Cuy Community Awards.
Megan was a finalist for Ethel Munn Community person of the year
Nicki took home the Murri Cuy catch up and yarn person of the year. 🏆
Our YRG member Rowan was also a finalist for young person of the year!
It is always so good to see the wonderful qualities of our staff recognised within the community they strive to support 💚

Our headspace team got into the spirit of Halloween and went down to support the Friends of Roma Library for their Roma library after dark event. 🧟‍♀️👻🎃
The headspace stall was super popular with all the tricky, gooey, feathery surprises to win a prize!
It is always so fun to get out and support our local community events 💚

Last week headspace in school came back out to visit Roma State College and Mitchell State school. They gave some talks on transitioning to high school, looking after mental health and looking out for your friends 💚

Headspace Roma was lucky enough to go and join the Injune Men’s shed open day where we got to hear about their plans for a mentoring program to support the Injune community and the workshops they hold – Like the Jewellery making one coming back in early 2026! We also had a lucky jellybean guess winner who was excited to take home her jar of jellybeans! 🏆

Men, women and youth are invited to come to the Injune and District Men's Shed for a day of activities, craft, guest speakers and fantastic food at the Open Day.

Shout out to Roma State College for having us on campus to celebrate National headspace day. This years theme was "Making Space" to encouraging you to take time to do things for you.
We would also like to extend thanks to the local daycare centres and IGA for their support in helping us spread awareness to our parents and community.
