This might include support with:

• Daily routines and everyday tasks
• Participation at home, school, or work
• Child development and play skills
• Equipment or home environment recommendations
• Changes following injury, illness, or changes in health

There is often confusion about the difference between a nutritionist and an accredited practising dietitian.

In Australia, dietitians are accredited allied health professionals who complete university training and meet national professional standards. Dietitians who hold the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) credential commit to ongoing education and evidence-based practice.

Dietitians work with individuals across a wide range of health concerns, using a person-centred approach that considers medical history, lifestyle, culture and personal goals.

The term “nutritionist” is not regulated under a single national professional body in Australia, which means qualifications and training can vary.

At Vital Health, our dietitians support people across the region with personalised nutrition guidance.

If you’d like to learn more about dietetics services available at Vital Health, contact your local clinic.

Roni, Di, Louisa, Siobhan and Tracey enjoyed the opportunity to connect with others in the community and recognise the power of women supporting women.

It was a wonderful event celebrating the contributions of women locally and across the region.

Physiotherapy is about more than just exercise.

While movement-based therapy is an important part of care, physiotherapists may also incorporate hands-on techniques and other approaches where clinically appropriate. The aim is to support safe movement, build confidence, and help people participate more fully in daily life, work, or sport.

Every plan is individual. The combination of approaches depends on assessment findings, goals, and what is suitable for the person.

Change does not need to be drastic to be meaningful.

Small, consistent actions, whether it is incorporating gentle movement, checking in on your mental health, or making simple food swaps, can support long term wellbeing over time.

If you are considering where to start, focus on one manageable step this week. For more information about services available at Vital Health, contact your local clinic or speak with your clinician.
