Recovery is just as important as my training, if not more.
I am the recovery queen!
Sleep, food, hydration - non-negotiable.
Massages, sauna, ice baths, hot springs, compression boots, red light therapy - my extras.
The better I recover, the better I perform.

Simple as that.

I see it all the time people skipping recovery and just trying to do more, push harder, go again. And I already know how that ends.

Busy mums - this is your reminder.
Exercise isn’t just another thing on the to-do list.
It’s the thing that helps you handle the to-do list.
When life feels full (which it always does), moving your body is the difference between just surviving the day and actually feeling good in it.
Exercise helps you manage stress, improves your energy, helps you sleep better and keeps your body strong for all the things life throws at you.
You don’t need hours in the gym.
Just two strength sessions a week can make a huge difference to how you feel.
That’s why I’m running a little special for my Monday and Wednesday strength classes over the next few weeks.
Commit to two classes a week and head into the school holidays feeling stronger, more energised and proud that you showed up for yourself.

Sometimes the best thing you can do for everyone else is take care of your own health first.

Be proud of where you are on your fitness journey.
Not where she is.
Not where you used to be.
Not where you think you “should” be.
Right here.

Comparison steals the joy from something that’s meant to build you.

There will always be someone faster.
Stronger.
Leaner.
Further ahead.
But they’re not living your life.
They don’t carry your schedule, your kids, your stress, your history.

Your only job?
Become a little stronger than you were yesterday.

Some seasons you’ll be flying.
Some seasons you’ll be maintaining.
Both count.

Progress isn’t loud.
It’s consistent.

So show up.
Do your session.
Eat your food.
Go for your walk.
Lift your weights.

Most importantly - Do you.
And be proud of that.
