🌱 Spring Equinox is here! And so is the season of the Wood 🪵 Element!

I’ve been studying and giving readings based on the ancient wisdom of Chinese Medicine and the 5 Elements of Nature for nearly 10 years now. And I’m excited about the arrival of the Spring Equinox! 🌷🌼🪻☘️🎊

Here in the Southern Hemisphere, the season of Spring is a beautiful reminder of balance and new beginnings. 🌟 As the days grow longer, nature wakes up and it’s inviting us to do the same! ⏰🥱

In Chinese Medicine, the preceding season of Winter ❄️ relates to the Water💧 Element, which was a time where nature was dormant, there was no growth and we were encouraged to retreat inward, restore our energy and to dream big about the life we want to create. 🌀

Now with the arrival of Spring, the Wood 🎋Element takes the lead. It represents the energy of the young child 👦 with that wonderful sense of adventure, rebelliousness and enthusiasm to get up and out and experience….well, everything! 🪁 😍

It’s the season of growth, renewal and the courage to take decisive action. 💪🏻

The invitation of this season is simple! It’s time to step into our own sense of Spring and feel inspired to come up with new ideas, to be more curious, creative and driven to grow 🌱 and move forward. 🏃‍♀️‍➡️

Here are some of my suggestions to embrace the energy of Spring 🌼and the Wood 🪵 Element:

✨ Move your body! — stretching, walking, exercising, dancing (my favourite! 💃) or yoga. 🧘🏻‍♀️
✨ Get out into nature 🎄— soak up fresh air, notice new life and feel inspired by the blossoming growth around you. 🌻
✨ Surround yourself with green — the color relating to Wood Element and growth and vitality. 💚
✨ Spring clean — clear your space, routines or emotions that feel heavy. 🧹
✨ Eat fresh and green — lighter seasonal foods to support your body. 🥒
✨ Set intentions — decide what you want to grow in your life! 🍃 🚀📈
✨ Play — explore, create and bring back a sense of wonder. 😍 ⭐

✨Wood Element qualities include humanitarian pursuits and kindness. 🫶 Explore what ways you can get involved in the community 👥 to be a positive drive for change. 💫
