Yesterday I found myself sitting in one of those spaces that just felt like a soft exhale.
And as I sat there, I witnessed something so many of us know…
Two mums, both with little ones — toddlers, babies, a dog barking, prams, phones, a thousand moving pieces.
And the beautiful café owner, who even in the middle of the rush, still chose to slow down, connect, and see people.
And it really landed in my body.
This pace we’re living in — the rush, the pressure, the constant “go, go, go”…
For so many, it’s not a moment. It’s a state of being.
Not because we’re doing anything wrong,
but because our nervous systems have learned that this is what life feels like.
I could feel it so clearly, because I used to live there too, and can often return when I’m not present within myself.
That constant hum of urgency.
That feeling like if you stop, everything might fall apart.
And there was no judgement — only deep compassion.
Because I remember.
But it also felt like such a clear reminder,
that the world is craving something different now.
A softening.
A slowing.
A space to breathe again.
Because how can we truly hear ourselves,
feel ourselves,
or know who we are
when life never stops moving?
This is why spaces like The Return to You matter so deeply to me.
Not as another thing to do,
but as a place to gently unwind the patterns of urgency.
To teach your body that it’s safe to slow down.
To come back into stillness, into presence, into yourself.
Because eventually, even when the kids are asleep,
even when the café closes,
the body can still be running.
And you deserve more than just surviving the pace of life.
You deserve to feel your life.
To breathe in it.
To be held in it.
To come home to yourself within it. 🤍
