Good sleep is really important for our overall health, and glasses which block blue light can assist in ensuring that your circadian rhythm is kept in check by protecting your ability to produce melatonin once the sun goes down.
Screens and LED lights can disrupt melatonin production via the intrinsically photosensitive retinal ganglion cells (ipRGCs).
We have a range of blue blocking glasses which can be purchased either as prescription or non prescription.
These lenses block 100% of the blue light wavelengths which disrupt our melatonin production.
Note that clear lenses which are marketed as blue blocking cannot block the full spectrum of blue light!
