🐰💝🍫 We took the time this week visiting some of our wonderful nursing homes and bought the Easter Bunny with us! There were BIG smiles, plenty of laughs, and some really special moments shared along the way. We handed out chocolates and cozy socks, which were very well received! But it was the joy in the room that really made the day……so much JOY and so many smiles. A simple visit can go a very long way.

The other week we had the pleasure of working with a truly beautiful family who were so incredibly kind and compassionate.

However some family members on the day felt guilty for not keeping it together as much as they felt they should.

It reminded me how much in our everyday lives that we are expected to maintain some form of ideal image for the sake of those around us.

There come moments in our lives where our emotions are too big to maintain the act however. In times like this I encourage everyone to allow yourself the freedom to feel, nobody will judge or look down on you if your composure slips a little, it can get to the best of us.

Look after yourselves and one another. ❤️

Recently, we had the absolute pleasure of saying a small “thankyou” to some of the hard working people who give so much, every single day.
We hosted 100 incredible nurses and care givers for a night at the movies - a chance for them to relax, unwind and be celebrated for the compassion, strength and care they show our local community. Your dedication does not go unnoticed and, we are so grateful for the work you do and partnerships we share. A small gesture for a wonderful group of people.

Honouring a life is about telling a story that is truly personal. We were deeply honoured to assist a family and celebrating their loved one at a beautiful golf course setting a place that reflected memories and the moments they cherished most. Every farewell should be as unique as a life represents and it was a privilege to help create a service that felt meaningful personal and filled with love.

Flowers are present at many funerals in one way or another. Flowers are unique, with no two being the exact same; just the same as people.

In a world where sometimes people struggle to show the world their own uniqueness, we want our families to be comfortable in helping us express the spirit and soul behind the person. We'll do anything we can to help celebrate their life and the mark they've left upon the world, something like picking their favourite flowers.

As human beings we all think and feel very differently. This uniqueness extends to the way we might honour and mourn our loved ones passing.

It's important to remember that no shoe fits every foot and similarly no funeral arrangement fits every family.

Nobody should feel that their uniqueness is inconvenient and if we can help in any way we will do everything we can to recognise the person for who they were ❤️

We were grateful to have the opportunity to share a lunch with our local clergy members the other day. It was a time of connection, shared conversation and mutual support, helping us strengthen the relationships that help us provide care for our community's families.
