Did you know? Medicare now covers more speech therapy
These changes may mean that more children and young adults can now access Medicare-funded allied health services, including Speech Pathology.
Here’s what you need to know:
✔ The M10 referral may provide Medicare rebates for eligible therapy services
✔ It must be provided by a GP, paediatrician, or specialist
✔ Eligibility requirements have recently been updated
If you think your child may benefit from therapy support, it’s worth speaking with your GP or specialist to see if an M10 referral may be suitable.
