Welcome back Dr Meilun Ly from maternity leave!

She will be working Saturdays to start, running a skin check clinic in the morning followed by general practice appointments in the afternoon.

The sun coming back out tomorrow is a timely reminder to make sure you are up to date with your skin checks!

Apologies to everyone trying to get through- our internet and phones are down.
We are working with our provider but it appears to be related to the works happening next door - hopefully we will be up and running soon!

We apologise for those who have tried to log on to our website and have found it down - we are having some technical issues and are working with the IT team to try and rectify them!

Because of this we have had higher numbers of calls - however our booking system via the AMS connect app remains up and running.

This week we're celebrating Transgender Awareness Week to help raise the visibility of transgender people and address issues that members of the community face.
As part of our commitment to ongoing professional development, Dr Kateena Vogel will be doing a talk with our GPs about transgender healthcare within a GP setting.
Today we've also implemented all gender toilets in our waiting room.
We hope to continue creating an inclusive and comfortable environment within our clinic for all trans and gender diverse people 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️

Wellness on Wellington welcomed our new registrars and said goodbye to the old last night at a fun filled night of Paint and Sip hosted by Josie from Josie’s Paint and Sip 🎨🥂
Goodbye Dr Kelly Mirowska-Allen and Dr Honiara Bashari, we wish you the best of luck in your future terms, you will be greatly missed.
We welcome Dr Alexander Demirtzoglou and Dr Serena Menezes, we’re very excited to have you apart of the WOW team!
We also welcomed back Dr Meilyn Ly, who was a registrar with us in 2022, and will be joining us permanently as of this week!

Just a reminder we have a flu clinic running this Thursday the 4th of May with some spots still available! 💉💉
If you book within these clinics the appointment is bulk billed! You will only pay $20 for the flu vaccine if you’re not eligible for a free flu vaccine under the National Immunisation Program.

Our first flu clinic will be this Sunday, and the next on Monday the 3rd, with more to open soon.
