2016 - what a year!

It was a true highlight at the time. And SO much has changed since. I almost don’t recognise myself!

Back then, I was operating at one pace only. Full steam. Burning the candle at both ends.

I was a few years into my “dream career” as a sports dietitian.

Leading the nutrition program at the GWS Giants and Cronulla Sharks, and starting with Giants Netball later in the year.

This was the first time I was part of a teams Grand Final success, made even more special by their first ever. The celebrations were big!

I travelled to Europe for the first time. London, Paris and Berlin with friends. Then Italy on my own.

I visited two iconic football clubs - Arsenal & AS Roma.

I remember thinking, one day I will work overseas with a sports team. I couldn’t have imagined another career at the time.

I made my first TV appearance on The Biggest Loser.

Plus plenty of personal highlights including buying my own apartment and lots of fun with friends.

Fast forward ten years.

I am redefining my career, evolving and expanding who I am and what I’m known for.

I have my beautiful 13 month old Angel Millie.

And I am clear about what I want my life to look and feel like. Which is very different to what it did 10 years ago.

A great reminder that just because something was once ‘the dream’ doesn’t mean you can’t change your mind, completely.

Along the way I’ve also been caught up in other people’s definitions of success, what it should look like, feel like and what offers I need to have, to do that.

Coming into 2026, I feel clear.
Personally. Professionally.
Clear on what matters.
Clear on what success looks like for me.

This is going to be a pivotal year I can’t wait to look back on in another 10 years and go, I’m so glad I did the things I’d been thinking about for years and started asking for what I want again.

The problem is not that you need a new version of yourself.

It is that you have not paused to recalibrate.

In episode 2 of the of the Stay at the Top Summer RESET series, I share three simple questions to help you reset how you want to show up in 2026.

This is not new year, new me.

It is not about adding more.

And it is not about reinventing yourself.

It is about clarity.

This episode is designed to help you find it.

Season 4 Episode 18 is now live.

Which question do you need to sit with most right now?

Once you’ve listened I’d love to hear what you think below.

Busy seasons are not the issue. How you move through them is.

I have seen this for years in elite sport, and I see it every week with executives and leaders.

When the calendar fills, most people default to the same trifecta that drains their energy.

Eating becomes reactive.
Alcohol creeps up.
Movement drops off.

Add poor sleep and all or nothing thinking, and it is no surprise people end the season exhausted.

But it does not have to be this way.

Busy seasons do not need to cost you your health, your clarity or your energy. You just need a framework that holds when life gets full.

In Season 4 Episode 14, I walk through the exact approach I use with my clients so they stay steady, make better decisions and enjoy the season without undoing their progress.

It is simple. It is realistic. It works.
