Our deepest sympathy goes out to all those affected by the tragedy that unfolded yesterday at Bondi Beach. ❤️🩹
If your like me waking up this morning it still seems surreal and so hard to comprehend, this doesn't happen in our country... surely it's a mistake. How can an innocent day at the beach basking in a perfect Aussie afternoon end in such a horrendous and heinous way. How can human beings do that to their own? Why does anyone deserve to be ambushed in the most cowardly way? They don't.
The one thing though that will always prevail is the courage and human spirit that our great country has in spades. Men and women treating people wounded from something that they have never experienced, banding together like brothers and sisters in arms, protecting what is so valuable to us, our freedom.
Whilst I know our heads in the next few days, weeks and months will be filled with the scenes and the thoughts of those affected. Let us never forget that this is a minority and that we will prevail and we will always be privileged to live in such a great country under that blanket of freedom that our human spirit, our country's majority stands for. 🇦🇺
