Today's excursion to the Rankin Rose Garden Maze for a picnic was a success, with everyone taking time to appreciate the roses and taking a favourite home. We thank our hosts, volunteers, family members and Leisure staff for their contributions to this successful outing. 🌹🤗

Today's craft session proved to be a productive and engaging experience for participants this afternoon, centering on the preparation, design, and creation of unique Christmas decorations. Well done Jen, Wendy, Mary, Gwen, Ken, Joan and Marion. 👍

This afternoon, Hay Ho Animal Nursery paid us a visit, introducing us to an endearing selection of animals, including baby doll lambs, kids, guinea pigs, chickens, chicks (comprising both chicken and turkey), rabbits, and the delightful Luna, a mini long-haired dachshund. The afternoon proved to be highly enjoyable. We would like to express our thanks to the staff and students who provided essential assistance throughout the day.

Today we ventured to the top of the hill to partake in Indigo Shire Seniors Festival. Our knowledgeable speakers Malcolm Campbell and Rex Humphries took us through the history and workings of the Wine Bottle as the towns water supply and onto the icon it is today. We even tested the acoustics, singing “Daisy” at the end! 🤗
