Bicarb soda helps neutralise odours, while arrowroot powder absorbs excess moisture that can cause bacteria and smells.

The addition of antibacterial essential oils brings a refreshing scent while helping to purify and deodorise, perfect for gym shoes!

AWO’s Shoe Deodorising Powder

• 1/4 cup Bicarb Soda
• 1/4 cup Arrowroot Powder
• 20-30 drops Essential Oil (We chose Peppermint, Eucalpytus and Wintergreen from our Active Recover Pack)

Add to an amber jar and shake well to combine. To use, add 1/2-1 tsp into the shoes and shake/tap them together to disperse the powder through the shoe.

AWO’s Batana Hair Mask

• 1 tbsp Batana Oil
• 1/2 tbsp Olive Oil Refined
• 1/2 tbsp Avocado Oil Refined

Combine together. Massage through your hair and scalp, leave for 20-30 minutes, then rinse and shampoo as usual.

- *Pure Batana Oil has a rich orange hue that may temporarily tint lighter hair and surfaces, we recommend patch testing before use.

Introducing Batana Oil 😍

Extracted from the nuts of the American palm tree, Batana Oil has been treasured for centuries by the Miskito people of Honduras, also known as the “people of beautiful hair”.

Unlike most oils, Batana Oil has a thick, creamy consistency (similar to softened Shea Butter) and appears semi-solid at room temperature with a rich golden hue. It melts easily into skin and hair, delivering deep nourishment and a wealth of vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids to restore, protect, and revitalise.

Nourishing and effective, this natural deodorant combines Shea Butter and Coconut Oil to soothe and protect delicate underarm skin.

Arrowroot Powder absorbs excess moisture, while Bicarb Soda neutralises odour and Bentonite Clay helps detoxify by drawing out impurities.

To finish, a refreshing blend of Essential Oils adds antibacterial support and a crisp, uplifting scent.

AWO’s Deodorant Paste

• 20g Shea Butter
• 15g Coconut Oil
• 10g Arrowroot Powder
• 5g Bentonite Clay
• 5g Bicarb Soda
• 7 drops Rose Geranium Essential Oil
• 5 drops Lime Essential Oil
• 3 drops Petitgrain Essential Oil

To make, gently melt the Shea Butter and Coconut Oil using a double boiler. Once fully melted, stir in your chosen essential oils.

In a separate bowl, combine the Arrowroot Powder, Bentonite Clay, and Bicarb Soda. Slowly add this dry mixture into the melted oils, mixing until well combined.

Pour into a clean container and place in the fridge to set.

Keep in mind, this mixture may soften or melt in warmer weather, store in a cool place for best results.
