After-Care clients’ receive services based on their own individual needs with care tailored to meet their preferences. Our local After-Care team supports older residents across the Mornington Peninsula with practical home assistance — including gardening — so they can stay living safely and confidently in the homes they love.

This isn’t a big, corporate service.

We’re excited to share that After‑Care will be attending the West Gippsland Community Disability Expo on February 6th.

We’ll be showcasing Shamac Lodge — our purpose-designed short-term respite accommodation — and chatting with West Gippsland NDIS Plan Coordinators about out-of-region respite options for clients who may benefit from a change of scenery, coastal surroundings, and tailored support.

If you work with participants who could use accessible short stays, supported holidays, or planned respite away from home, come and have a conversation with our team. We’d love to talk through how Shamac Lodge can fit into participant plans and support wellbeing through meaningful breaks.

We had a great session with the wonderful members of the Paynesville RSL and Paynesville Men’s Shed last week, chatting through the upcoming Support at Home changes and what they mean for older Australians.
