Pureau Australia

Pureau Australia Australia's purest water. The only water that is 100% guaranteed to be completely free of chlorine, bacteria, fluoride, sodium and other impurities.

Noble Beverages has been providing Pureau to Australian households since 1987, four years after the company was founded in Sydney. The launch of Pureau was preceded by an exhaustive research and development process that resulted in one of Australia’s most sophisticated water filtration systems and the birth of the Pureau brand. In 1998 Noble’s Pureau gained national recognition during the cryptosporidium contamination scare in Sydney, when it was recommended as one of the only safe packaged waters to drink in the Sydney metropolitan area. The crypto scare resulted in many Australians becoming interested in the benefits of truly pure water, and Pureau began to be distributed in all major supermarkets. In December 2004, Noble Beverages was bought by Australian Beverage Holdings, an Australian-owned company whose aim is to enhance the quality of Australian life by producing and distributing healthful beverages. As Noble Beverages continues to grow, we will remain focused on our company’s core purpose: to help people take control of what’s in the water they drink and by doing so, helping people achieve better health

To make Pureau, we use a proprietary three-stage filtration method known as the "Pureau Process". There are no treatment chemicals used during the process, nor does the process involve ozonation, chlorine, UV or distillation.

The first stage consists of various filters which remove chlorides, metals, sodium, fluoride and inorganic materials like nitrates. These filters include various types of carbon and other media we have developed over the years to purify and soften the water. This gives the great taste that is unique to Pureau.

In the second stage, the water undergoes reverse osmosis. Here the water is forced through membranes at a high-pressure to remove any remaining water contaminants down to micron levels.

In the third and final stage, biological filters are used to remove substances down to 0.2 microns. As the reverse osmosis step is so incredibly effective, these filters are used primarily as a security measure to ensure the water is 100% pure.

Is Pureau packaging safe?

Yes. Pureau is bottled using food-grade materials that meet Australian food and beverage safety standards. Our focus on purity doesn’t stop at the water itself - packaging, handling and production are all carefully controlled to ensure the water stays exactly as intended from our factory to your home.

You'll also be pleased to know that we've conducted extensive PFAS testing both pre and post packaging and all results returned with PFAS undetectable at all levels in Pureau.

Is alkaline water worth the hype?

Alkaline water often relies on additives or buffers to raise pH levels. At Pureau, we focus on purity - not manipulation. Our water leaves the factory with a neutral pH and no added chemicals. Because it’s free from buffers, the pH naturally changes when exposed to air, just like rainwater. Clean, natural water doesn’t need enhancement.

Of course, if you are concerned, you can just add a pinch of bicarb soda to each glass of water you drink! And you will be drinking alkaline water.
