Introducing: Ben / Support Worker

G’day my names Ben. I was born and raised in Gippsland and currently work with Gippsland Connect Group as a support worker. I enjoy cooking BBQs, getting outdoors and fishing while exploring Gippsland’s lakes and river systems. From beginners to experts, through Gippsland Connect Group we have gone on some great fishing trips. Part of the job I really enjoy is linking people with support networks such as the men’s shed or catching up for a coffee and chat. I’m a Support Worker currently working for Gippsland Connect Group. I've lived in Gippsland my whole life. I completed schooling here, followed by my Cert IV in community services, and look forward to furthering my studies in the next year. I love scenic drives, cooking and adventuring around Gippsland. I have a true passion for my work, and I thrive off helping people achieve their goals. Connecting with individuals is very important to me and I love helping with daily activities and tasks.

I’m a Mental Health Nurse currently working with Gippsland Connect Group. I grew up in Gippsland and attended my schooling here too. I love crafts, gardening, cooking and trips to the beach. After heading off to the Peninsula for almost 10 years to work as a Nurse, I’m back home in Gippsland and keen to provide support to NDIS participants.
