🎄 Christmas Office Closure Notice 🎄

As we head into the Christmas period, we’d like to let everyone know that the Assist Gippsland office will be closed from today until the 29th of December.

📞 Office phone availability:
The office phone will be manned on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only during this period for anything that can wait until next week.

Our support services will continue as scheduled, and our team remains committed to supporting participants over the holiday period.

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish all our participants, families, and staff a very Merry Christmas and a safe, happy New Year. Thank you for your continued support throughout the year.

🎄 What a Beautiful Day Celebrating Together 🎄

Today we shared something really special at our Client Christmas Party. Together, we cooked a delicious Christmas lunch, laughed our way through the kitchen, and enjoyed some friendly morning lawn games before sitting down to eat as one big community.

Moments like these remind us that it’s not just about the activities — it’s about connection, inclusion, and creating a space where everyone feels they belong. Seeing smiles, teamwork, and genuine joy made the day truly unforgettable.

We had our last Gallery Art Class for the year, Today. Everyone made something festive. Big thank you to Gippsland Art Gallery for hosting us monthly all year. We look forward to creating with you in the new year.

✨ Day Three & Our Final Night in Merimbula ✨

What a special way to wrap up our Christmas Group STA 🎄
Today was all about slowing down, enjoying each other’s company, and taking in the beautiful Merimbula views.

We shared a delicious Christmas roast lunch, spent the afternoon making sweet treats and heartfelt crafts to take home to our loved ones, and soaked up the joy that comes from being together. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, sweet 🍭 moments.

This marks our final Group STA for 2025, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect way to finish the year. Thank you to our incredible participants and staff for making this experience so special. 💫

We’re heading home with full hearts and lots of festive cheer ❤️🎅

Day 2 of our Christmas Group STA in Merimbula! 🎄☀️

Today we headed out for a fun day at Magic Mountain, enjoying a relaxed day out, a few rides, plenty of laughs and the chance to just spend time together out in the fresh air. 😊

Afterwards, we shared a lovely picnic lunch, soaking up the sunshine and good company — sometimes the simple moments are the best ones. 🧺☀️

We couldn’t pass through town without a cheeky visit to Merimbula Ice Creamery 🍦, which was definitely a highlight and enjoyed by everyone.

It’s been so nice seeing everyone connecting, having fun and making memories together. 💛

Tomorrow is shaping up to be a fun-filled day of Christmas festivities — stay tuned! 🎅✨

Today we hit the road from Sale to Merimbula for our final Group STA of the year – our very special Christmas STA 🎅🎁

Tomorrow we’re off to Magic Mountain for some fun and thrills, and on Sunday we’ll be kicking off Christmas Day celebrations in true festive style 🎄
Think yummy Christmas roast lunch, Christmas arts & crafts, and baking delicious Christmas treats together – all just for fun, connection, and lots of smiles ❤️

We can’t wait to make some beautiful memories together to wrap up an amazing year ✨
