✈️ Expression of Interest: Moorabbin Air Museum Open Cockpit Weekend ✈️

We’re thinking of swapping out our Bowling Day on Sunday, November 16th for something a little different — a trip to the Moorabbin Air Museum’s Open Cockpit Weekend!

This event looks like an exciting day out for everyone — perfect for those who love planes, helicopters, and all things aviation. There’ll be Star Wars cosplayers, book sales, food & drinks, the Victorian Scout Band, youth group activities, and of course, the chance to climb inside real aircraft and helicopters!

🌅 Phillip Island STA Wrap-Up 🌅

Our group has just returned from a great few days away in Phillip Island! We enjoyed plenty of laughs, good food, and time together exploring everything the island had to offer. It was a fantastic chance to unwind, connect, and make some lasting memories.

Yesterday we travelled back to Sale feeling grateful for the experience and the wonderful group who made it such an enjoyable trip. A big thank you to everyone who came along and to our support team for helping make it all run smoothly. 💙

🌞 Day Two Adventures – Phillip Island Group STA! 🍫🦘

What a fantastic day it’s been! Today our group explored the Phillip Island Chocolate Factory (and yes, there were plenty of sweet treats 😋), enjoyed a delicious lunch at Fork & Waffle Café, and spent the afternoon surrounded by nature and wildlife at the Koala Conservation Reserve.

Tonight we’re heading out for a special dinner to celebrate our final night together — a perfect way to wrap up an amazing trip filled with laughter, connection, and new memories 💛

🌊 Day Two Adventures at Phillip Island! 🐧

What an incredible day our group STA has had exploring the beauty of Phillip Island! We started the morning with a visit to Churchill Island, soaking up the history and stunning views, followed by the always-fascinating pelican feeding 🦩 — such a unique experience!

Now, we’re all rugged up and excitedly waiting for the penguin parade to begin 🐧✨ Can’t wait to see these little cuties waddle their way home after sunset!

It’s been another day full of laughter, learning, and unforgettable memories with our amazing group 💙

🌴 Group STA – Phillip Island Adventures! 🌊

Our amazing group has kicked off an incredible STA trip to beautiful Phillip Island! 🏝️ We’re soaking up the scenery, making memories, and enjoying every moment together.

Tomorrow we’re heading to Churchill Island for some history and nature, followed by a magical evening watching the penguin parade 🐧 under the stars! We’ve also got some sweet fun planned at the Chocolate Factory 🍫, delicious lunches and dinners out, and a visit to the Koala Conservation Reserve 🐨.

It’s shaping up to be an unforgettable few days full of friendship, fun, and adventure! 💙

🎨 Getting Ready for ‘Colour Our World’!

Rebecca has been busy getting all the incredible artwork ready for installation at Assist Gippsland’s annual art display — Colour Our World! 🌈

The exhibition will be opens Wednesday, 12th November at the Wellington Art Gallery, and open for viewing throughout November and December showcasing the creativity, passion, and individuality of our talented participants.

Each artwork reflects the unique perspectives and colourful stories of our community — a true celebration of self-expression and inclusion. 💜
