🎉 Assist Gippsland is Celebrating 5 Years with Isobel! 🎉

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone — 5 years of Isobel being part of our team 💙

Since joining us in April 2021, Isobel has made such a meaningful impact. Starting as a Support Worker, stepping into a Team Leader role, and continuing to bring her passion and care into everything she does — her journey has been nothing short of amazing.

Isobel’s kindness, humour, and genuine dedication to the people we support never go unnoticed. She has a way of making everyone feel comfortable, valued, and supported, and she brings such a positive energy to our team every day.

Through all the changes over the years — including becoming a mum to beautiful Juni — her commitment and heart have remained constant.

We are so grateful to have you as part of our team, Isobel. Thank you for everything you do — here’s to many more years ahead! ✨

🔥🏕️ Final Day – Group STA | Cape Conran 🌊

What an unforgettable few days it’s been!

From beach adventures and fishing trips, to campfire cooking, swimming, and plenty of laughs – this STA has been full of skill building, connection, and amazing memories 💙

Our last night around the fire was the perfect way to finish – sharing a delicious meal, relaxing together, and reflecting on everything we’ve achieved 🔥🍽️

Today we wrapped things up with a catch up with the Assist crew for fish and chips before heading home – a great end to an incredible trip 🎣🍟

A huge shoutout to our amazing staff who make these experiences possible 🙌Your support, encouragement, and dedication create opportunities for our participants to grow, build independence, and truly enjoy these moments – we couldn’t do it without you 💙

Already looking forward to the next adventure!

🌊🏕️ Day 2 – Group STA | Cape Conran Adventure 🎣🔥

Another amazing day filled with adventure, connection, and new experiences!

We started the morning right with a hot breakfast before heading off to Marlo for some fishing 🎣
Plenty of patience, skill-building, and teamwork on display as everyone gave it a go!

Lunch was well earned with burgers at Salmon Rocks 🍔 followed by a refreshing swim back at camp 🌊
The weather has been absolutely incredible for the end for April– couldn’t have asked for better conditions ☀️

Now we’re winding down, getting ready to light the fire and cook up dinner for our last night together 🔥🍽️

Tomorrow we’ll be meeting up with the Assist crew for fishing and chips before heading home – a perfect way to finish off an unforgettable trip!

🌊 Day 1 – Group STA | Cape Conran Adventure 🏕️

What an incredible start to our hands-on camping trip!

Today was all about building skills, confidence, and making the most of every opportunity 💪

After arriving, everyone got stuck into setting up camp – teamwork, problem-solving, on full display 🙌
Once we were all set up, we headed down to the beach to soak it all in… sunshine, waves, and plenty of smiles 🌞🌊

To top off the day, we cooked dinner over the open fire 🔥
On the menu: baked spuds, snags, and of course… s’mores! 🍽️🔥

A fantastic first day filled with learning, connection, and fun – we can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!

Cape Conran weekend done right 🔥🌿

Swag on the roof, trailer packed, fire ready to go… this is what it’s all about. A few days of camping, cooking over the open fire, throwing a line in and just switching off.

Gippsland is absolutely turning it on for us — blue skies, fresh air and not a bad view in sight.

Sometimes you don’t need much… just good company and the great outdoors 🙌
