Samford Grove Residents came together for Melbourne Cup today. There were horse race games, sweeps and good food and drinks. What a wonderful afternoon, organised by a great community! 🐎 🎉 🏆

On today's Day for Daniel, started with a lovely breakfast with our residents, then held a raffle along with a lucky door prize.
We then went for a stroll around the Village with the buggy decked out in red in support of the Daniel Morcombe Foundation. We're proud once again to raise funds for such an amazing organisation.

Yesterday, Samford Grove Residents and their guests gathered for a delightful Spring Fashion Parade. With stunning decorations, delicious treats, and fabulous models, the event was a resounding success. Many Residents worked together to bring the morning to life - and they truly outdid themselves.

Today we celebrate R U OK? day with inviting our residents to the café to have a chat and receive a little treat (cupcake).
It was lovely to see so many people gather and have a conversation with others they normally wouldn’t. After all a conversation can change a life!

Today our small group of ladies headed out on an op shop tour, followed by morning tea of course! We had so much fun and so much laughter to go with a few good bargains.

🌼 Yesterday at Samford we held Daffodil Day, combined with our Hamburger Day. The day was a great event, it was so lovely to see so many residents join us to support Cancer Council Australia. We made 72 Hamburgers, sold Daffodils, cupcakes, and raffle tickets.
We love to see our residents having such a great time for a great cause. 🌼

On Friday our group made their way to VEND Virginia. The ladies had a ball exploring all the little shops after a very delicious morning tea.

On Wednesday we were lucky enough to have the Qld Police Pipes & Drums join us here at Samford. We thoroughly enjoyed their visit and can’t wait to have them back again! 🥁 🥁
