David is an expert child and adolescent psychiatrist, with over 30 years experience in a wide breadth of specialities such as psychosis, eating disorders, depression, anxiety disorders, neurodevelopment disorders (e.g. He now works closely with all age r

anges to create effective treatment plans and promote overall emotional wellness. Tracy qualified as a nurse over 27 years ago, working in child and adolescent mental health, both inpatient and community based services at a senior level. She has a unique approach to therapy, using animal assisted therapy as well as the human animal bond to support engagement with her dog Beau. Tracy collaborates closely with individuals of various ages to develop effective treatment strategies to foster holistic emotional wellbeing.

Talking Tails Therapy and Jess Sexton Therapy having an amazing time meeting everyone at Toowong Private Hospital for mental health week. Beau and Pikelet were certainly feeling the love ♥️

One of the highlights of Queensland Mental Health Week this year was a visit from therapy dogs Pikelet and Beau on Friday. Our patients had a lovely morning of cuddles in the courtyard. Thank you to Jess and Tracy for bringing your fur-babies to visit us!

We also had a tropical themed dress up day which brought a lot of brightness and joy to the hospital 🌺
