Some mums don’t realise they have a prolapse because the early signs are so subtle.
Heaviness, pressure, wobbly pelvic floor muscles or feeling “different” at the end of the day can be easy to ignore when life is already full.

But you’re not meant to figure this out alone. With the right support, a pelvic health physio and an exercise professional who specialises in female exercise in your corner, prolapse becomes something you can understand and manage with confidence, not fear.

If you’ve noticed any changes and want guidance that feels safe and supportive,
please get in touch and I can guide you towards the best support for you.

Send me a message and let's chat!

Many mums feel heaviness, pressure or “something just feels different” without realising these can be early prolapse symptoms.
You’re not alone. It’s not something that you just have to put up with now that you are a mum. Your body is asking for support and support is available!

In all sessions at Body 4 Mind Connections, we guide you on symptoms that you may feel during certain phases of exercises. When you might feel symptoms and what the next steps are from there (whether it is a slight adjustment of the movement or referral for further support).

If you want guidance that feels safe and personalised, we have a few spots remaining fo Term 1.

Held in a beautiful location, next to a children’s playground and a coffee shop across the road, these sessions will soon become your favourite weekly mums group!

When weight drops quickly, especially on GLP-1s, most mums aren’t told that the body can lose muscle too, not just fat.

And muscle matters.
It supports your metabolism, your bones and your daily strength.

In our recent MumSafe™ session with Endocrinologist Dr Isobelle Smith, we learned that walking or cardio won’t protect muscle during weight loss… but strength training will.

If you’re navigating weight-loss medications and want to feel strong, safe and supported, trial spots are now open.
Send me a message to join us.

Many mums are surprised at how quickly weight drops when they start GLP-1s, but fast loss isn’t always healthy loss.

GLP-1 medications can reduce appetite so much that some women end up eating far less than they realise. Without enough protein or strength work, the body doesn’t just lose fat… it loses muscle too.

And muscle is the very thing that supports metabolism, bone health, energy and long-term strength.

The good news?
With the right training approach mums can lose weight and keep the muscle that matters most.

✨ Strength training 2–3× per week
✨ Adequate daily protein
✨ Hydration + fibre
✨ Slower, steadier weight loss
✨ Education and supervision from a qualified trainer

This is a topic we unpacked deeply during our MumSafe™ workshop led by Endocrinologist Dr Isobelle Smith where we explored what mums really need to know about GLP-1 medications and safe weight loss. The message was clear: strong, informed support protects women far beyond the scales.

If you want guidance that feels safe, supportive and sustainable, trial sessions are now open.

Cervical Cancer Prevention Week is being marked in the UK from 19–25 January 2026

Even if we are here in Australia, the message matters everywhere.

Cervical cancer is largely preventable. HPV vaccination for young people and regular cervical screening for women and people with a cervix aged 25–74 are two of the most important tools for early detection and prevention.

As mums, it’s easy to put our own health at the bottom of the list.

As trainers, it’s powerful to remind our communities that prevention is care and that booking a screening when it’s due can make a life-changing difference.

A gentle nudge today may be the support someone needs.

Understanding your menstrual cycle makes movement feel less confusing and far more supportive. In our ongoing MumSafe™ education with women’s health professionals like Nardia Norman, we learn how each phase of the cycle brings its own shifts in energy, strength and motivation and why that matters for mums.

Your period is often a time for gentler movement. Mid-cycle, you may feel naturally stronger and more coordinated. And in the days before your bleed, sensitivity and fatigue can increase. None of this means you’re inconsistent… it simply means your body follows a rhythm.

When you match your movement to the phase you’re in, training can feel more purposeful, calmer and empowering - not something you have to push through.

If you want to feel more supported as you move through each season of your cycle, Trial Sessions at Body 4 Mind Connections are now open.

Message me if you’d love to join.

Many mums don’t realise there’s a time in their cycle when heavy strength work may feel naturally easier.

Around mid-cycle, higher estrogen can support energy, confidence and recovery, making lifting feel smoother and more achievable. When you understand your body’s rhythms, training becomes safer and far more empowering.

Our trial spots at Body 4 Mind Connections are now open, send a message to join.
