2019. Uluru and Kata Tjuṯa. I was 36, fresh out of a breakup, trying to figure out who I was outside of motherhood and all the old wounds I’d been carrying. My first trip without my kids, and the beginning of really diving into healing ❤️‍🩹 trauma, childhood patterns, ancestral threads… all of it.

The journey to the simple truth of “you are enough” can be winding, and all consuming… more complicated than it needs to be. The opposite of this, grasping to the justification of keeping you “safe”.

I wandered the red centre with my dear friend who’s known me for over 25 years. And this weekend marks the anniversary of that chapter - the one that cracked me open in all the right ways. ✨.
