Do you believe fasting could never work for you because you get too hungry? 😫

Try Angus Barbierie: He fasted for 382 days - A world record! He lost 276lbs over that period😯

How did he maintain a fast for so long?
Water, essential vitamins, and tapping into his energy stores!👍

Was he not really hungry?
Once we are past our hunger response our body switches from immediate energy (food) to stored energy (fat). Hunger subsides at this point😀
Hunger is not necessarily a lack of energy - It’s a sign that we are running low on quick energy sources and that we will soon switch to slow energy sources. Angus Barbierie broke through the initial hunger response, tapping into his slow energy sources until he had burned through them all!

Of course this is an extreme case. A 24 hr fast is a tough enough! However it shows us the stark difference between starving😡(eating less) and fasting🙂( eating nothing)
Side note: Doctors only planned for a 48hr fast, but he wanted to continue because he felt so good 💪

For sustainable results we need balance, and an environment that promotes success without continuous willpower

Low calorie + High exercise = Hunger, Fatigue, & Suffering. 😤

Never before have we counted calories or exercised for weight loss, why start now?


So what really works? - ⚖️BALANCE⚖️

To achieve balance we flip Eat Less Move More upside down!
- More energy and nutrition to tackle our challenges and goals
- Less fatigue and hunger that requires willpower to fight
- Produces an internal environment (BODY) for fat burning NOT and external environment (EXERCISE) for calorie burning

EAT MORE MOVE LESS!
It may sound crazy but not only does is work, its 10x easier than it's counterpart - you can enjoy your life and achieving your goals.

EAT MORE FAT BURNING FOOD 🔥
- Move away from sugar and carbohydrates OR shift them to the end of the day/post exercise.. Carbs are energy storing, regardless of their nutrition. For successful weight loss we must think controlling our energy metabolism not nutrition. For example, a banana is high in potassium (nutrition) but produces a big insulin spike (energy storing).
- There are no essential carbohydrates, only essential PROTEINS + FATS - we can live without them!

- Eat more healthy fats and proteins. Fat is the ultimate fat burning food. Eat Fat To Burn Fat! Meat, fish, eggs, nuts, seeds, cheese, and many more. Make these 70% of your plate. How? Almost no insulin spike! = We more readily tap into our stored energy, burning fat and reducing our hunger.

MOVE LESS for weight loss and MORE for Fitness/Fun 🤪
- Exercise is only 15-30% of energy output - 70% is our internal environment.
- Building muscle increases our internal environment energy burning (70%) - Results even when were sat on the sofa.🙆‍♂️
Running on a treadmill increases our external environment energy burning (30%) - Results only when you're on the treadmill.😢
BOTH INCREASE HUNGER!

- Exercise for fun! No exercise routine will last if we can't wait for it to be over every time we do it. Plays sports, go for a bike run, stretch at home - enjoy it!

We all know how important a good nights sleep is right? … But did you know a persons sleep length and quality is a predictor for their BMI?

The data shows countries that average the lowest on sleep quality and duration also produce the highest BMI values per person, whilst countries that score high on sleep produce the lowest BMI values.
This shows recovery is just as important for helping us reach our goals - Who said you couldn’t lose weight lying down?
