Everyone is creating a world according to the body situation, but we are largely out of contact with it.

We experience the psychosomatic body - the Projections of our body instead of our actual body-body.

This relationship has profound and direct implications everyday regard our experience to the world and of our selves.

It is this very 'body-body' that duplicates and mirrors all our thoughts- as feelings and sensations. Then drives us into action

Can you verify this?

If so
How can we work with this psychosomatic situation to reconnect to our life as it is
and take more stewardship?

Well, there are myriad of ways but really - mindfullness of body is a good, tried and tested place to start.

It is Particularly effective in this age of distractions, technology, overthinking and abstraction from our natural world.

Mindfullness of body is connected with Earth. It is an openness that has a base, a foundation.

A Quality of expansive awareness develops through mindfulness of body

A sense of being settled and of therefore being able to afford to open out 🌻

All good qualities flow and develope from here . It is where we begin Awareness Through Movement.

A fresh 3 week series opening out this Thursday in macksville. In Awareness Through Movement, we train in experience, with a view to integrate that experience through our embodied life.

Movement is life. Life is movement . If we can change the quality of movement, we can change the quality of life itself.
Thus change , honesty, sensations , our habits, reactivity - response, and adaptable wellbeing, all come into play.
Awareness is integral.

For our time in class, we put down what we are carrying, and become grounded ( a much unexplored and underrated state of being). We then, (simply put), explore many subtle, yet sophisticated movement combinations to evoke our neurological capacity to change.

These classes stimulate an experiential understanding of neuroplasticity. We can feel better, become more adaptable, changeable, resilient, and honest with our state of being and life as it is ...
In this series we are really looking to harmonise all our selves, and feel this possibility as a living process in our every day ordinary life.. moment to moment 🌐🙏🏽

Movement wise, we will use the theme of rotation. Turning , twisting, and changing direction, as a somatic cue for our learning. Imagine you were aware every time you changed direction. This could be very interesting ....

It might be good to also note that here class we do not use our body as a machine to perform tasks or repetitions, but rather we exercise our ability to observe and explore.

Tomorrow Scotts Head , 6pm at the center of healing we endeavour into a plesent process of let go and relaxing in and through the body.

You may have noticed that when one feels good and natural (without hostility), the response is to expand🌀, While when there is fear, stress, anger or worry, the tendency is to withdraw and contract .

Well, it can be interesting to observe that these states of feeling naturally replicate themselves in the Body for a time , mainly as Contractions, tensions and unecessary held tone.

as relaxed, vital, coordinated musculature-

These next three weeks will be an exploration into a grounded, safe process of sensing our bodies on the floor, that you can take with you, develope and adapt.

In Awareness Through Movement, we enact gentle mindfull movements in different combinations and positions
Evoking a sense of release and harmony in and through the body. Particularly over this three week series on 'letting go', we will be exploring our flexors -extensor relationship. The font and back, on and off, Hard and soft, Push and pull dynamic .

I am excited for the subtleties because to sense your self in a kind, honest, open and loving way can be just such a wonderful thing..

This will translating into easier movement as well such as bending and coming upright as well as easier general upright posture in every day life.

Tomorrow is the start of a fresh 3 weeks of Awareness Through Movement- Stuarts Point.

10am we will meditating on deep listening and our interconnected life.

Then -
Our body holds wisdom.

The Movements will all be all around -freeing up and activating our hip flexors.
Enlivening and activating the pelvis - our center of gravity and power🌀

We will explore the sit bones and translate all this into easier movement , stillness ,
coming together and having fun.

Rocking the sunflower theme here inspired by Beebee 🌻🐝the sunflower challenge 🌻🌻🐝 and the sunflower community 🌻🐝🌻🐝🌻🐝🌻🐝🌻🌄🌐⛰🤲 stay tuned

For those who have not attended Awareness Through Movement or are aware of feldenkrais here is Just another reminder that these classes are for all bodies and capacities🌼 and are very much about engaging in a true a genuine caring relationship with ourselfs- through movement🌼 We learn how to think and feel and breathe and use the ground with more and more of ourselfes in a learning process -Through Awareness🌼 and thus the process is the goal🌼 its quite unique and yet adaptable and complimentary🌼, in my experience , to communicate- It's very worthwhile🌼 not dounting what so ever 🌼😎. In fact its pritty much a practise of self love ❤🌐🌏
