As I extinguish the candle for the last massage of the year I am grateful for the continued support of all of you. This was a bumpy year with some health issues and extra recovery time but I’m so thankful to everyone for sticking around and continuing to come and see me.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to give you all a quick update — my return to work has been slightly delayed due to some unexpected complications during my recovery from surgery.
While I was really looking forward to getting back to doing what I love and seeing all of your wonderful faces again, my health needs a little more time and care right now.
Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and kind messages during this time — they truly mean the world to me. I’ll keep you posted with any updates and let you know as soon as I have a new return date.

I was finally released from hospital today, 5 days after being admitted. I required a second surgery as my lung was infected. So now I’m back home, this time with 20 staples still in my side. Nurses will be visiting me daily to redress and check the wounds.

I have to say, the nurses I dealt with at flinders were all amazing and really deserve the praise. Some of the s**t they deal with, my goodness, I couldn’t do it.

I hope to be back on deck really soon but I’m just not willing to push it this time.

Hi lovelies, well surgery went ok and I thought I was making a straightforward recovery but have ended up back in hospital 2 weeks later with infection and a lung hernia that requires surgical intervention. I’m sorry to everyone that’s waiting to see me. I wish I could be back working but I think there may be a bit more recovering to do yet.
