On the weekend I went to a session at my TCM Dr Rebecca Brook about “Strength for Life”. This was for personal purpose - I am nearly at the other side of menopause but still get some of the symptoms which are associated with it. I had a total hysterectomy almost 10 years ago now due to ongoing issues with endometriosis which set me into the spiral which is menopause.
It was a great couple of hours full of information in regards to diet & exercise to take me / us into our next chapter. I am pretty keen to stay strong to now be able to play & run after our grand daughter but also for massage - it can be physical & I want to sustain it for a number of years yet.
Massage is a great support to any sort of exercise - it helps the body to recover so you can continue to train. It can help mitigate some of the risk of injury & helps our nervous system to regulate & recover for our busy lives. Giving yourself that 60 or 90 mins on the table can be what your body, mind & soul needs to gain clarity, comfort & help with recovery.
I have opened up a couple of appointments for Thursday 22 January 2pm & 4 pm if anyone is looking for treatment this week
There is also a 9:30am that has come up for Friday 23 January due to a change in scheduling.
