Today our staff came together and had the pleasure of learning about the culture of three of our most diverse client backgrounds, Indian, Chinese and Aboriginal.
Facilitated by , we learnt Chinese drumming and the history of these ancient instruments. We participated in learning Bollywood dance and how diverse each state of India really is. We got to draw Aboriginal icons and were invited to listen to the didgeridoo and learn the deeper meanings of storytelling.
Participating in these cultural activities strengthens our ties to the community we serve, and help build stronger relationships with babies, toddlers and families.
