The Secret to South Indian Wellness: The Tridoshic Balance of Idli-Sambar

In Ayurveda, the best meals are those that balance all three Doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha). Idli and Sambar is a shining example of this balance:

Idli: Steamed and light, which is grounding but doesn't overload the system—great for Kapha.

Sambar: Warm and spicy, stimulating the metabolism—great for Vata and Kapha, and the cooling lentils/veggies balance the Pitta.

The fermentation in the idli batter even pre-digests the meal, making nutrients highly bioavailable. A truly ancient wisdom breakfast!

What an incredible start to the Mind Body Spirit Festival, ICC Sydney!
Yesterday was such a busy and successful opening day, connecting with so many beautiful souls interested in holistic health, Ayurveda, and conscious living.
