✨ New Project Reveal | Surry Hills Medical Practice

📍 Surry Hills, NSW
📐 300 sqm General Practice

We’re proud to share Surry Hills Medical Practice - a project designed to redefine the everyday GP experience through clarity, warmth and a more human-centred approach to care.

Guided by a clear brief to soften the healthcare environment while maintaining a strong brand identity, the design balances clinical efficiency with an approachable patient experience.

A clean, highly considered layout supports seamless workflows across 10 consultation rooms, while soft lighting, natural timber tones and integrated greenery create a calm, welcoming atmosphere from arrival.

A defining feature, the brand-blue arch, anchors the reception, paired with wall planters to introduce texture, identity and a strong first impression.

The result is a practice that performs at a high level for the clinical team while delivering a patient experience that feels intuitive, composed and distinctly non-clinical.

We’re proud to share the successful handover of a new Pain Management Specialist Suite at Murdoch Square delivered by our WA team.

Another key milestone within the Murdoch Square precinct, this project reflects our continued focus on delivering purposeful, high-quality healthcare environments.

A sincere thank you to Dr Chin-Wern Chan and Dr Payam Max Majedi for entrusting Perfect Practice with your vision. Inspired by your Japanese heritage, the design embraces a refined Japandi aesthetic - balancing warmth, simplicity, and function. Soft, flowing lines echo the calm of traditional Japanese sand gardens (karesansui), carried seamlessly throughout the space and expressed in the Corian reception counter, where a precise 10mm routed line creates a subtle yet striking focal point.

A fantastic result and another exceptional delivery by our WA team.

📐 850sqm Community Healthcare Facility

We’re proud to deliver Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service, a culturally grounded healthcare environment designed to support connection, community and care.

Inspired by the flowing Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River), the practice is planned to create a calm, intuitive journey. At its heart, a welcoming reception and yarning circles offer a place where Elders, children and families feel safe, respected and at home.

The Six Noongar Seasons are expressed through colour, texture and spatial zoning, with wayfinding guided by culture - connecting people to Country and community.

Natural materials and flowing forms bring warmth and familiarity, shaping a space for gathering, healing and connection.

Project Highlights:
– Six Seasons zoning to support identity and navigation
– Feature reception designed as a place of welcome
– Culturally embedded wayfinding
– Integrated clinical, dental and community spaces
– Engaging, family-friendly environments

📐 600 sqm, Licensed Facility Birthing Centre

We’re proud to reveal the Matrescence Birthing Centre - delivering a new model of maternity care with a private healthcare–level experience within the public health system.

This purpose-built facility has been designed to create a calm, welcoming birth setting while meeting the rigorous clinical and regulatory requirements of modern healthcare delivery.

While intentionally designed to feel warm and non-clinical, the centre operates as a Class 9a healthcare facility, demonstrating how thoughtful healthcare design can deliver comfort and experience without compromising clinical governance.

Licensed for Level 2 maternity and neonatal services, Matrescence supports a continuity-of-care maternity model that guides families through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal journey.

The result is a space that balances clinical governance with a more personalised care experience- offering families an alternative model positioned between hospital and home birth.

📐 92.5sqm Specialist Orthodontic Practice

Thoughtful planning was key to delivering Harrisdale Orthodontics - a compact, highly functional 5-chair practice with two consult rooms designed to maximise every square metre.

A warm, contemporary interior palette of muted neutrals, light timber and charcoal accents creates a calm and welcoming patient environment, while subtle arch details and fluted textures introduce softness and visual interest.

The result is a refined, cohesive practice that balances efficiency, comfort and modern design.
