Working with Dr. Sathah Sivabalan, our team brought to life a vision centred around warmth and care using soft curves, gentle pastels, and playful details that capture the heart of paediatric design.

⚒️ Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service Construction Milestone

It’s been a busy few months in Midland, WA, where our team has been hard at work bringing the new Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service (DYHS) facility to life.

Once a farmers market, then a library, and later a dialysis centre - this site’s transformation continues. With trenching, framing, mechanical works, and wall sheeting now complete, we’re well on our way to project completion.

Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service is Western Australia’s largest Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation, providing culturally responsive care to more than 20,000 patients across Perth. Guided by strong values, DYHS continues to empower and strengthen the Aboriginal community.

We’re proud to play a small part in helping DYHS continue their vital work - creating a space that reflects their commitment to care, connection, and community.

Our team is currently working closely with Shellanda Eller, Director of Midwifery Services at Matrescence Birthing Centres Gold Coast, to bring to life a space that truly embodies her philosophy - Trusting Women, Honouring Birth.

Last night we celebrated the Perth Day Hospital soft launch - and we couldn’t be prouder.

It’s so rewarding, and we’re literally jumping for joy, to receive this heartfelt note from Carine Du Plooy, CEO of Perth Day Hospital, reflecting on the journey we’ve shared over the past 18 months:

“It is with the deepest gratitude that I write to thank each and every one of you - not only for making last night exceptional, but for making the past 18 months truly unforgettable.

We are so close to the finish line, and while the road ahead may still be challenging, your unwavering dedication has never faltered.

Thank you for the beautiful flowers, the drinks, and most of all, the extraordinary teamwork. ✨ Project Spotlight: South West Radiology, Mt Annan

We’re proud to share our second collaboration with South West Radiology (SWR), following the success of their Wetherill Park practice.

Located in Mount Annan Marketplace, this 209 sqm practice brings SWR’s brand to life in a space designed for patient comfort and operational efficiency. Its modern, functional layout reflects SWR’s values and commitment to care, featuring the brand’s trademark blue and timber battens alongside custom joinery, all unified by a cohesive, high-quality finish.

Like every project, Mt Annan came with its own set of challenges - from an irregular floorplan and the integration of large, specialised equipment to a tight six-week construction timeframe.

Through strategic spatial planning, we developed a layout where every square metre is purposeful - supporting efficient workflows, daily operations, and overall functionality. Despite these complexities and tight timeframes, the project was delivered on time, a testament to our team's commitment to quality and reliability.

This phase marks more than just physical progress - it reflects months of collaboration, design refinement, and on-site coordination all coming together to bring our vision to life. We're proud to see the spaces beginning to take shape.

Matrescence Birthing Centre isn’t just another healthcare project. It’s the first of its kind: a purpose-built, hybrid maternity facility that combines the safety of hospital-grade care with the calm, comfort, and autonomy of a home-like environment.
